Before and After Photographs:

Here is a sample of some of our cosmetic work.
We have photos showing hundreds of cosmetic cases
we have completed and would be happy to demonstrate
the results we can achieve for you.

This patient came to our office with severely eroded enamel.  This condition can result from excessive use of acidic foods (such as lemons or soda), or other causes.

When the enamel is not present to protect the teeth, the softer dentin underneath is far more vulnerable to further destruction.

This case was restored with composite resin veneers, and was completed in one session.   In cases such as this, little or no drilling of the natural tooth structure is necessary.

This patient was born without permanent upper canine teeth.  This photo shows the replacement of the missing upper canines with dental implant retained porcelain restorations (marked in photo).

This photo illustrates a single porcelain crown on an upper front tooth.  This is by far one of the most challenging restorations in dentistry, as any slight difference in color, shape, or texture between the porcelain and natural tooth are so obviously seen.

We worked closely with the master technicians at York Dental Lab, who deserves much credit for this outstanding result.

Replacement of failing silver amalgam fillings with bonded composite resin restorations.

This patient presented with a smile that revealed short, discolored teeth, with excessive spacing.

A multi-faceted approach was used to correct these cosmetic problems:

·          First, radio-surgery was used to reshape the gums, which were giving the appearance of short teeth.

·          Second, the teeth were bleached with the Opalescence system to lighten their color.

·          Finally, composite resin was bonded to the teeth to eliminate the excessive spacing.  It is important to note that this approach did not require any drilling of existing tooth structure, and preserved the natural beauty of the existing enamel.  In fact, this procedure did not even require any local anesthetic.

This patient presented to our office with old porcelain veneers that were no longer cosmetically acceptable.

They were replaced with two new porcelain veneers.

This patient presented with an existing porcelain fused to metal crown.  This particular crown left an obvious dark gray line where the metal substructure showed where the tooth met the gums.

The crown was removed and was replaced by an all porcelain crown.

This patient presented with a small space between her lower teeth.   This problem was corrected by the addition of bonded composite resin, and required no drilling of the natural teeth.

This patient presented with stained teeth that he wished to lighten.  In this case, the Opalescence home bleaching system with custom trays was used to achieve the result.

This young woman fractured her two front teeth a few days before she was scheduled to leave for an extended internship in China.

Composite resin was bonded to the fractured area, and her treatment was completed within an hour.

The LED Transilluminator is an exciting new instrument that can let us “see into” the inside of a tooth by lighting it up like a light bulb.

While in no way does it eliminate the need for dental X-rays, it provides another tool to diagnose decay, cracks and other conditions that might be missed by other methods.
